I was born and raised in Redmond, Oregon. I moved to Idaho to attend Boise State University (GO BRONCOS!) where I earned my B.A in Elementary and Special Education.
After earning my degree, I taught special education at the elementary level for seven years. I have also sat on several leadership teams with the purpose of enhancing behavior and special education supports at the classroom and school levels.
In 2017, I earned my M.A in Educational Leadership with a Special Education Director endorsement.
When not in the education setting, I am spending time with my husband and two year old daughter (Josh and Harper). Together, we enjoy hiking, playing in our backyard and traveling.
I am extremely honored to join the Syringa Middle School team. I look forward to a fantastic school year!
